Twelve months after surgery, you're looking at the lateral profile of a 65-year-old woman who had a facelift with submental lipectomy, platysmaplasty, bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty, and lower eyelid laser resurfacing, all performed in a single operative session. The platysmaplasty addressed the platysma muscle bands visible in the neck, while submental lipectomy removed fat beneath the chin. Upper eyelid blepharoplasty excised excess upper-lid skin, and laser resurfacing treated the lower eyelid skin surface without surgical excision. The after photo, taken at the one-year mark, shows the jawline and neck contour with the incisions fully matured.
